DescriptionThe Fiesta Party season kicked of this week in Morogoro at the Jamhuri stadium with a host of local artistes putting up performances.
The show which was fully sold out got underway at around 7pm sending the packed Jamhuri stadium audience into wild cheers.
The performances that came in a quick succession saw over 30 artistes show case their talent in a none-stop five-hour session of song and dance. The artistes who performed included,Diamond , Hussein Machozi, the THT band, Amini, Linah, Godzilla, Joh Makini, Chegge, and Temba,.
Others were Belle9, Barnaba, Mwana FA, Fid Q, Tip top Connection, offside Trick, Kalapina and Joh Makini were part of the long list of entertainers.
Though all the acts put up spirited performances, artistes like offside Trick of the Bata fame were an instant hit with the Morogoro crowd as they went through their rauchy dance routines which drove the crowd wild.
Others who also rocked the audience were TMK, Fid Q and Mwana FA, who also received an equal round of applause at the end of their performances.
Despite being held in the middle of the week nobody was in the mood of leaving the venue before the last acts were through and they kept asking for more.
The party continues today with a show at Matonge Club in Arusha which will be followed with another show tomorrow at La Liga Club, Moshi, Kilimanjaro.
Apart from the three regions , ‘Fiesta Jipanguse’ will also be held in Tanga, Zanzibar, Musoma, Mwanza before the climax in Dar es Salaam at the end of July at the Posta Club.
In another development, though organisers have remained tight-lipped over the International artiste to grace the Dar event, word from the grapevine has it that either Congolese star Fally Ipupa or American hip hop artiste, Fabulous might grace the show. Venue
